Jimmy’s Famous Seafood Crab Cakes Review
We found ourselves in Baltimore, Maryland, it was late, and we were hungry. Almost every search result on almost every website all said the same thing. Jimmy’s Famous Seafood. We fired up the ol’ GPS and made our way towards the seafood promise land.

The sign was the only thing illuminated as far as you could see in almost all directions. Music pumping through the windows as we walked in, we settled in and began to peruse the menu. My buddies who were with me at the time opted to get a more decadent meal, and took the optional add on of making their side, the Crab Fries.

I assure you, that you will not leave Jimmy’s Seafood hungry. the monstrous portion of fries was loaded to the brim, overflowing with sweet crab meat, and melted cheese. This one would enter the books as a “cheat day”

I ordered the tried and true classic, the two Crab Cake platter. They arrived engorged, plump, and ready to be devoured. These were some of the fattest crab cakes I had ever laid my eyes on, so I just had to dig in.

The large lumps of meat indicate the high quality of these cakes, This is not your cheap “finely shredded” meat, overloaded with filler. These were massive, and they were loaded to the brim with beautiful lump crab meat, edge to edge.
Jimmy’s Seafood lives up to the hype. It is certainly not the cheapest meal you will ever have, as the Two Crab Cake dinner was $43 as of market value at time of writing this. However, if you come here with the expectations of simply receiving a delicious, decadent, high quality meal, you will not be dissapointed.
Jimmy’s Famous Seafood: 9/10
