Applebee’s 25 Cent Wings! – Food Review!
Applebee’s has once again released an incredible deal with the release of their new 25 cent chicken wings! The national restaurant chain has continued to come out with fresh and exciting promotions, such as endless riblets, and even $1 mixed drinks. Skeptical at first, I decided we must venture to a local location ASAP to put them to the test.

LOOK AT THIS PLATE OF WINGS!
The wings were much larger than I anticipated, with rival wing establishments such as Buffalo Wild Wings coming to mind. The coating on the outside of the wings were crispy yet light, not dense in the slightest. Sometimes when you purchase boneless wings the outer breading is so dense, that it can crumble off.
This is not the case with Applebee’s.

As you can see, the wings are all white meat chicken, and the breading on the outside is not thick at all. Almost an unobtainable ratio of meat to breading, other establishments should take notes. The meat was tender and juicy, with evidence of minimal processing, as the striations inside of the meat were rampant. Very little evidence of any filler, with the seemingly unadultured white meat on full display.
Again, we see the large size of these wings. I was expecting tiny breaded “niblets” of meat. I could not have been more wrong with my assumptions. The cost for a “large bleu cheese” was an additional 50 cents, so my grand total pre-tax was $3.00 for ten wings.
I honestly could not be more happy with this promotion, the quality is higher than expected, the sauce had a spicy tang to it and the meat was juicy and full. For 25 cents per wing, I may be visiting Applebee’s weekly until this promotion has finished, and I suggest you try them out too!
