Biscuit Love “East Nasty” Review
Nashville, TN is known for some of the best comfort food around, so what a better place to visit, than a restaurant named Biscuit Love, what’s more comforting than that?
We arrived late afternoon, with a line out the door, to an inside that was on the smaller side. You were instructed to be prepared to order upon ENTERING the building, so as to keep things rolling along to accommodate more guests. We were handed a menu, and browsed as quickly as we could.

Taking a look at this small section of the menu, can you take a wild guess what we went for? Best Sandwich in America? East Nasty was the move, and we added a fried egg on top just for kicks, as the wonderful hostess outside made the suggestion.

The food arrived in a matter of minutes, and it looked disgustingly delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the fried egg ready to bless the plate with it’s golden offering inside. The biscuit was thick fluffy, moist, and chewy all at the same time.

After forming the sandwich as it was meant to be, things really got out of hand. I could barely fit the thing into my mouth. The gravy added a decadence that this sandwich surely did not need, however it was a welcomed addition.

Here’s a cross-section of the compiled sandwich. Notice how thick the biscuit is. It had enough moisture all on it’s own, and sometimes biscuits can form a sort of “cement” in your mouth if they are too dry, not the case here. They opted for a chicken thigh over a breast to keep things flavorful, and again, nothing was dry about this.
Overall, from outside waiting in a line, to paying our bill we spent less than an hour in and out. They run this establishment like a well oiled machine, and still crank out some of the tastiest eats in town.
Hand made from scratch biscuit, handed breaded chicken thigh, from scratch sausage gravy, aged cheddar, AND a fried egg, for under $12. Sign me up.
